This module allows users to write a letter to newspaper editors. It will allow users to enter a zip code and a search radius and will then display a dropdown list of available newspapers and a letter submission form.

This module depends on the Location module to enable zipcode-based searches of available newspapers. Be sure that you have enabled the Location module and installed the zipcode data packaged with it.

Rules allows site administrators to define conditional executed actions based on occurring events.

This will be the 6.x compatible rule based action evaluation system of workflow-ng. It'll be a more feature rich replacement for the trigger module in core and support executing drupal 6.x actions.

The purpose of Photoframe is to provide a general API for image-based content wrapping such as rounded corners and drop shadows. The API allows extensible styles, is easy to use, and avoids unnecessary markup.

Photoframe uses jQuery to wrap image-based 'frames' around content after
the page has been loaded and is invoked by adding a single CSS style to any element.

vBulletin to Drupal

Drupal Modules - Tue, 06/11/2007 - 3:08pm

This module will import your data from vBulletin forums into Drupal forums. It has been tested with vBulletin 3.6.2 (but should work for most--if not all--vBulletin installations). It also includes a login manager that allows existing forum users to login without having to reset their passwords.

This module was developed for The Webmaster Forums (who are slowly moving to Drupal).

EvE IGB Fixups

Drupal Modules - Mon, 05/11/2007 - 10:51pm

This is a module that adds IGB compatibility to Drupal when used in conjunction with the EvE IGB theme.

It is currently 4.7 only being ported to Drupal 5 and has not been tested for a long time. Please keep this in mind. A 5.x port in the near future is planned.

In addition to all this, you will most likely need to hack your login system to disable session regeneration, as IGB does NOT work correctly with this.

I am planning on adding a workaround for that issue to this module when I find time.

Single Login

Drupal Modules - Mon, 05/11/2007 - 9:24pm

Single Login is a session management system for Drupal. It allows the site administrator to create a policy to detect, and prevent, duplicate logins on the same account. This is obviously handy for a site that requires paid subscriptions. Once a duplicate login is detected from a different system, the first login gets logged out. The admin can set a policy that determines how often and within what time period a session can "ping pong" between machines. Should the policy conditions be met, the admin can specify an action, typically to block the offending account.

Action Views

Drupal Modules - Mon, 05/11/2007 - 9:14pm

Action Views is used together with the views module. Action views adds a view type of "Action View" to the views interface. This will present your view as a table, and adds a list of actions you can perform against the results of the query executed by the view. We have taken a modular approach whereby additional actions can easily be added to the module in the form of an include file.

Workflow Required Fields

Drupal Modules - Mon, 05/11/2007 - 3:40pm

The wf_required_fields module allows you to configure which fields of a CCK node are required, based on the workflow state of the node.

Required fields are marked on the node edit form. Also, transitions are objected (with a suitable message) if required fields for the target state are missing.

The module was tested with the field types that come with the CCK module. It should also work with other CCK field types that use CCK for database storage.

Session expire

Drupal Modules - Mon, 05/11/2007 - 2:16pm

Expires rows from the session table older than a certain time.

On busy sites, the sessions table can grow to be very large, and that can cause slow accesses to it, as well as slow writes due to locking, leading to performance bottlenecks.

By trimming the table regularly, the above bottlenecks are avoided.

Drupal uses the PHP garbage collection mechanism to cleanup the sessions table, but this mechanism depends on PHP's configuration, and can fire for any session.

Panels Accordion

Drupal Modules - Mon, 05/11/2007 - 4:30am

Panels Accordion provides an accordion display within Panels. By using accordions you can fit more content into smaller areas and allow your users to expand each section as needed. This uses the existing jQuery file for the accordion effect.

The layout settings allow you to choose the action, effect, and speed for accordions.
