FAQ_Ask

This module is an add-on to the FAQ module that allows users with the new 'ask question' permission to create a question which will be queued for an 'expert' to answer.

For more about why this module exists, please read "Ask the Expert" or Advice Column.

Viewing of the completed question and answer pair is done by the FAQ module.

Node Triggers

Drupal Modules - Wed, 14/11/2007 - 10:49pm

This module allows you to trigger actions (from the Actions module or any other module that defines actions) when something happens to a node (insertion, update, deletion).
You can choose which type of node will trigger an action.
For example, you can set up a trigger so that an action gets executed each time a Story node is created.

The development of this module was funded by OpenSourceCinema.org.

Media Actions

Drupal Modules - Wed, 14/11/2007 - 9:47pm

This modules provides actions (as defined by the Actions module) to help manage media files. Currently, it implements storing video files from CCK nodes on blip.tv (uploading, updating and deleting the file).

This module was funded by OpenSourceCinema.org.

jQuery plugins

The jquery_plugin module allows you to load miscellaneous jQuery plugins from any module or theme by calling the jquery_plugin_add($plugin) function. For example, jquery_plugin_add('validate') would load the validation plugin.

More information about jQuery plugins can be found at http://jquery.com/plugins/project/Plugins

Taxorole

Drupal Modules - Wed, 14/11/2007 - 5:33pm

This module allows taxonomy terms will be used as roles. Also collaborates with modules Mass Contact (http://drupal.org/project/mass_contact) and TAC Lite (http://drupal.org/project/tac_lite) to provide categories and restrict access to nodes tagged with a specific term (selected by Taxorole) only to be accessible by the equivalent roles.

Smart Line Break Converter

Drupal Modules - Mon, 12/11/2007 - 7:51pm

The smartlinebreakconverter will selectively apply the line break converter filter (in the core filter module) based on whether it thinks it's necessary. This in particular resolves an issue we have with users copying/pasting content into TinyMCE and having extraneous line breaks hidden in the content. Basically, if it appears the content has line breaks in it coded with HTML (as from a WYSIWYG editor), then it will not change the content.

PAM Authentication

Drupal Modules - Mon, 12/11/2007 - 7:43pm

The PAM Auth module is based vaguely on a skeleton of the IMAP Auth module (http://drupal.org/project/imap_auth). It accomplishes the same goal except that it uses the PHP5-PAM module to accomplish the authentication. It also borrows some ideas from the ldap_integration (http://drupal.org/node/15109) module for password-form adjustments.

OG Contact

Drupal Modules - Mon, 12/11/2007 - 7:32pm

OG Contact provides contact module style contact form for Organic Groups, and optionally provides a "Contact" tab on the group's main page. Administrators can enable/disable group contact forms on a per group basis. The recipients of form submissions are the administrators of that Organic Group.

Views Checkboxes

Drupal Modules - Mon, 12/11/2007 - 6:48pm

This module alters views' filter forms so that the drop-down or select box widgets are represented as checkboxes or radio buttons instead. This initial release satisfies all the immediate needs I had for such a module, but I may expand it in the future to only alter certain views and leave others to the default display. Currently, a single checkbox on the admin page controls the entire module.

Nice Primary Menus

Drupal Modules - Mon, 12/11/2007 - 4:59pm

This module extends the Primary menus with an additional level of secondary nice menus that hide/show on hover via jquery. Some theming is required to enable it.

An option is added to the admin/content/menu interface for selecting which nice menu to display. This option is only added to the children of the primary menu.

NOTE: To use this module, you must do some theming.

Replace the theme('menu_links') with theme('nice_menu_links'),

Role Contact Module

Drupal Modules - Mon, 12/11/2007 - 10:30am

RoleContact creates a "staff list" out of profiles from users in a particular role, e.g. "staff role". The user list is formatted via theme functions, with convenient header and footer fields. The order of users is set via weights. A configurable subset of profile data is shown in the user list view, along with the user's picture along with a link to a per-user page, showing a (potentially different) subset of profile data.

netFORUM Views

Drupal Modules - Sun, 11/11/2007 - 8:13pm

The netFORUM Views module relies on the netFORUM xWeb Interface and netFORUM Dynamic Facade Nodes modules to pull a list of objects from a netFORUM database and present them as a page or a block, much like the Views module.

Zoomify

Drupal Modules - Sun, 11/11/2007 - 2:46pm

This module integrates the Zoomify component (http://www.zoomify.com)
into Drupal. Zoomify is a Flash application that displays large
images by allowing to pan and zoom into them. Images must be first
preprocessed in order to Zoomify to work, and that's what the Zoomify
Image (aka Agile Image) Python script does
