The dodge module mimics the Twitter functionality in a very basic way.

Users can publish what they're doing, how they feel, their state (= dodge)...

For each user a for in provided in a new category where he/she can set his state. State can be one of a list of predefined stated (provided by the webmaster) or a state typed in by the user in a free text box.

A history of user states is kept so you can always see what someone's states was some time ago. The size of the history can be set.

This module provides the display of AWStats web statistics data (generally collected from web server logs).

The BAWStats module integrates the third party betterAWStats system into drupal. The betterAWStats project is a PHP library and CGI that displays AWStats web statistics data in a convenient and customizable way.

Drupal Modules - Sun, 25/11/2007 - 5:03pm

Drupal is a database driven CMS. If you can access the database, basically you can do anything including re-implement Drupal in Java.

The "java-bridge" module is to provide a pure Java library that helps you access the database. It also provides several handful Java utility functions. With this module, you can write powerful Java backend applications and build it into Drupal.

Basic features include:

Display Gravatar in comments.

What is a gravatar ?

A gravatar, or globally recognized avatar, is quite simply an 80×80 pixel avatar image that follows you from weblog to weblog appearing beside your name when you comment on gravatar enabled sites. Avatars help identify your posts on web forums, so why not on weblogs ?

Message Box

Drupal Modules - Fri, 23/11/2007 - 8:04pm

This is Fork of the messenger project at

Messagebox has few more features than available in messenger. It currently uses the same database tables as messenger does and will let you migrate over to this version if necessary. It adds the following features to messenger - with more planned.

Drupal Modules - Fri, 23/11/2007 - 11:38am

This module display a style changer in a block for better Web Accessibility. No JavaScript required (BITV 6.3).

Find user

Drupal Modules - Wed, 21/11/2007 - 5:56pm

This is a custom search module for users. It provides a search page that can search for users by username, email, or a custom text field. The custom text field can come from any content type, thus this module plays nicely with any user-as-node strategy.

The module does one thing and does it well, and is independent of search module. It has enough customization options to allow you to bend it to your will, as well as a healthy number of themable functions.

Drupal Modules - Wed, 21/11/2007 - 5:02pm

ScrollText used for display text in scrolling mode. The text come from certain node titles! You can take a number of node titles from page or story or any node type.
1. select any node types
2. scrolling speed, width, height
3. limit a number of titles
4. css using <div>

Video Filter

Drupal Modules - Wed, 21/11/2007 - 4:10pm

Based on my YouTube Filter I now created a extendable Video Filter module with to ready made extensions for YouTube and GodTube. Adding new video sites is as easy as adding a file with just one simple function.

YouTube Filter

Drupal Modules - Wed, 21/11/2007 - 2:14pm

I like the CoolFilter, but it's just to much and at points not flexible enough. On the other hand, the GoogTube filter doesn't allow users to determine the width and height. So I made my own, more flexibel version.

Update:I translated this module in an extendable version to support multiple video sites: Video Filter

Column Break

Drupal Modules - Wed, 21/11/2007 - 11:34am

Adds a TinyMCE button to insert column breaks. This lets you to split your node's content in as many columns if you like and on the exact places you want to have them. Styling is done through CSS.

Since I most of the time I use my own CCK Blocks module to give my editors just a simple left en right CCK field that I then insert in the left and right sidebar, I'm not very much developping this module any further. If your are interested in taking it over, be my guest.

Pivots Extra

Drupal Modules - Tue, 20/11/2007 - 9:42pm

This is a helper module package for extra algorithms to the core Pivots module.

Split Moderation

Drupal Modules - Mon, 19/11/2007 - 8:02pm

With the built in Drupal fourm module, items are handled just like nodes and comments on those nodes. One shortcomming with this approach is that the permissions for comments also apply to forum posts. What this means is that you can not have moderated comments and un-moderated forums, or vice-versa.

This module fixes that. It allows you to select which node types are "always moderated".

Multiple Image Upload

Drupal Modules - Mon, 19/11/2007 - 3:50pm

This module integrates the open source applet Postlet (also created by me) into the image upload page. This enables images to be "drag 'n' dropped" into Drupal.

The module requires the Image module to be installed. It extends the user interface of that module, and uses the image content type for the images uploaded using Postlet. It should work with any modules that extend the Image module also.

Advanced Forum

Drupal Modules - Sun, 18/11/2007 - 4:24pm

[Note: This module is a work in progress and is not ready for use, yet.]

Advanced Forum is a "glue" module that provides a layer between the core forum module and all all the various modules that add the functionality found in stand alone forum software. It also handles theming and some functionality not covered by other modules.

AJAX Picture Preview

Drupal Modules - Sun, 18/11/2007 - 9:42am

This module uses JQuery and the AJAX File Upload Jquery plugin(logan) to present
a preview of a user's new picture as soon as they select one. Uploads will be
sent through the same validation process and errors will be reported immediately
after selection has been made.

Important! Make sure cron is setup properly or your pictures/tmp/ directory
will grow very large. Preview images are staged there and cron will remove them
once the originating session has expired.

Drupal Modules - Sat, 17/11/2007 - 9:03pm

Journal module adds additional fields to all forms in a Drupal site to allow developers and site administrators to record and track all actions that have been performed to setup a site or change its configuration.

Journal is primarily useful for developers and site administrators working in a team environment. Since Drupal is a full-fledged content management framework, it is often not easy to communicate, track and audit all changes that have been applied to a site. Even without contributed modules one is able to build a totally customized site.

Drupal Modules - Sat, 17/11/2007 - 6:50am

This can be usefull if for example your node contains video fields, or any other field that takes time to process.

A feature chart is available at the XStandard website.
