Drupal Modules - Fri, 15/02/2008 - 3:15pm

By default, the Drupal 6 trigger module displays appropriate actions for each trigger. Each action has declared which hooks it is appropriate for.

This module lifts that restriction, making any action available to any trigger. Use with care, as making an action assignment that does not make sense may lead to unintended consequences.

Drupal Modules - Fri, 15/02/2008 - 4:01am

The Contaxe module makes it easy to integrate Contaxe ads into drupal. Combined with some optional modules it allows revenue sharing and WhoSeesAds-like rules for when to display ads.

File import

Drupal Modules - Fri, 15/02/2008 - 1:03am

This module can import multiple files and save them as node attachments.
It is very usefull when you are using such modules as slideshow and flashvideo,
and if you need to import dozens of files at once.

Drupal Modules - Thu, 14/02/2008 - 10:29pm

I was unhappy with the output/integration of the available modules to create a retail store finder, so I threw this together. I know there is some room for improvement in the code but its a start and I thought I would this thrown out there.

The module provides and administrative interface to add/edit/delete stores. For the front end there is a place where you can input your address, zip and a search radius and be given a set of results on a google map. you will need a google map key to use this.

Menu Breadcrumb

Drupal Modules - Thu, 14/02/2008 - 6:24pm

By default, Drupal 6 will use the Navigation menu for the breadcrumb. This module allows you to use the menu the node belongs to for the breadcrumb on node pages.

Furthermore, it allows you to append the node title to the breadcrumb (as plain text or url).

Drupal Modules - Thu, 14/02/2008 - 7:28am

This is a simple module that adds a hook_requirements that checks for a global $serverid variable that should be unique for each server hosting a particular site. It allows you to register each server as a cluster member giving it a human readable name, and exposes a serverid select list for using in other modules.

This is mainly an API like module. It is mostly a requirement of several other modules I'm building where servers need unique id's for job locking and daemon provisioning.

Search Uploaded Files

Drupal Modules - Thu, 14/02/2008 - 5:15am

Add capabilities to search files names or descriptions.

HTML and PHP Whitespace Filter

Drupal Modules - Wed, 13/02/2008 - 10:17pm

This is marked BETA, simply because of a lack of community based testing. It is unknown if this filter will work in version 4 or 6, however I would assume it will

Web Service Clients

Drupal Modules - Wed, 13/02/2008 - 6:16pm

Parallel to the Services module, the Web Service Clients module will provide the ability to implement pluggable clients to external web services, including external Drupal sites running the Services module.

Taxonomy Quick Find

Drupal Modules - Wed, 13/02/2008 - 12:02pm

This module provides a JQuery/JSON powered configurable set of blocks which can dynamically show other recent content from similar categories to the categories for the current node.

Riffly - realtime audio and video comments on your site

Drupal Modules - Tue, 12/02/2008 - 6:47pm provides a very neat service which allows your users to leave you audio or video comments on your blog. The interface lets your record the audio or video comment while on your site using the user's webcam and microphone if they have them. have a plugin available for Wordpress which I ported over to drupal. Their interface is very easy to use - the comments are stored on the riffly servers and accessed from their servers whenever the user selects play on your site.

Post Also

Drupal Modules - Tue, 12/02/2008 - 1:59pm

Post Also lets you post simultaneously to multiple sites. For example, I often post content on my blog but since I'm too lazy to just copy/paste it to other sites, generally for an association where it would belong, the content lives solely on my site. Or it might eventually get sniffed up through RSS, but sometimes, that's not fast or good enough.

Drupal Modules - Tue, 12/02/2008 - 6:29am

This module provides an integration between Drupal and StatCounter web stats. This module aims to make it second nature to add and configure the way stats are displayed on a Drupal site.

OG Default Roles

Drupal Modules - Mon, 11/02/2008 - 10:19pm

Default Roles allows multiple roles to be granted (and/or revoked) by each group. This is useful if you wish to use membership in certain groups to grant site-wide roles/permissions. For instance, you could have an "Editors" group, whose members will be automatically granted several appropriate roles at the time they join the "Editors" group.

Drupal Modules - Mon, 11/02/2008 - 9:06pm

Award module allows administrators to identify one or more content types as "Awards." When a user with appropriate permission views a user's profile, an expandable fieldset is available where the viewing user may grant any awards he has permission to grant.

This was a rather quickly-made module written to serve a specific purpose in a project I was working on. I know there are more things it could do. Please feel free to submit feature requests and especially patches, and perhaps the module will become more useful to more people.

Calais Semantic Tagging

Drupal Modules - Mon, 11/02/2008 - 7:45pm

This module utilizes the Calais web service to automatically generate tags from semantic metadata. Do not use this module yet. The web services request ha not been written, so the module doesn't actually do anything. I will have this module ready within the next few days.

Drupal Newsroom powered by NewsCloud

Drupal Modules - Mon, 11/02/2008 - 6:36pm

The Newsroom provides an excellent way to add dynamic current events and news to your Drupal-powered Web site. It's also a great way to stimulate involvement and discussion in your online member community.

The Drupal Newsroom module provides a page for your Drupal-powered Web site with news stories based on specific topic(s) from or populated by your staff or site members. The newsroom module allows your members to browse headlines, read stories, vote, comment and post new articles.

Drupal Log To File

Drupal Modules - Mon, 11/02/2008 - 5:57pm

The Drupal Log To File is built as an alternative to the watchdog interface, aimed at alleviating database load when logging events/actions of the system. With this module, the developer can send logs directly to a flat file in the format:

and can be called from your code-base like:

Wysiwyg Pro

Drupal Modules - Mon, 11/02/2008 - 4:53pm

WysiwygPro is an advanced online HTML WYSIWYG editor that can be embedded in a web page. A few features are:

Timezone field

Drupal Modules - Mon, 11/02/2008 - 9:48am

Timezone field (tzfield) provides a CCK autocomplete or select field for storing timezones. It could be useful if for example you have a node type of "city" or "location" or "office" and you wish to associate a timezone with these nodes. Timezone data is stored in the standard zoneinfo format, e.g. "Europe/London".

This module is still in development feature wise, but should be fully functional. Note, PHP 5.1+ is required.

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Drupal Modules - Mon, 11/02/2008 - 1:31am

Amazon Web Services (AWS) connects APIs and Drupal to make integrating to web services easy.

Currently there is support for the Simple Storage Service (S3) which allows you to create static links to authenticated files for download. Because the module handles building the authentication string, you can offer these files only to certain members or groups and make them available for download without having to worry about whether the links are going to be available to anyone on the Internet.

Asterisk Call Detail Records

Drupal Modules - Sun, 10/02/2008 - 5:22pm

The Asterisk Call Detail Records (CDR) module allows an Asterisk administrator, or user, to view call information from CDRs stored in a MySQL database. Module can be configured to view CDRs in a separate database from Drupal, so long as the database is local.

Drupal Modules - Sun, 10/02/2008 - 4:23pm

The Permalink module provides permalinks for Drupal. /node/[nid] links are handy, but not user-friendly. URL aliases are user-friendly, but not handy as they are subject to change. This module redirects all requests for /node/[nid] to the node's alias if it's is available. Comment permalinks should be available in the near future as well.
