a) send them a message, or
b) initiate a handshake.

The 'initiator' has the option to select which fields of his/her own to expose.

The module contains both a client and a server to route messages sent from your site to JIDs specified by the users. The built-in server is considered highly experimental, so use with caution. Drupal Modules - Mon, 13/08/2007 - 2:14am

Dataview was created to bring the powerful table creation, sorting, and filtering options of the Views module and make them available for data that is unrelated to the nodes table. Currently, it will only display data that resides within a single table.

In addition, Dataview currently also allows for the export of the current view as an XML-based spreadsheet, including formatting.

Its purpose, however, is to act as an API, so it must be passed an array that describes the table and its fields from which the data will be pulled.

Money CCK field

Drupal Modules - Thu, 09/08/2007 - 1:19pm

This module defines the "money" CCK field. It uses the Currency API, which is included in the Currency module, to get a list of valid currencies.

Only amounts with 2 decimals can be used. Any decimal separator and any digit group separator can be used, but it defaults to the comma and the dot respectively, which is according to ISO 31-0. The separators can be changed at any point, only integers are stored in the database.
