I've been at the gnome summit for most of the past two days. Not actually working on gnome makes this a little strange, but it's kinda fun anyway. I saw demos of both the online desktop and hotwire. I'm not sold on the online desktop yet, but hotwire looks promising and fun. I chatted with ajax about all the cool stuff I missed at XDS this year, and also managed to write some code that lets automatically loading drivers override each other (say, have intel override i810). I'll be putting that code in to the xserver as soon as I get some time, probably this week, so I guess I managed to be productive.
